Battle Tapes
Battle Tapes
Battle Tapes is an electro synth rock band based in Los Angeles, California, formed in late 2010. The band consists of Josh Boardman (vocals/guitar/synth), Riley Mackin (keyboardist/vocals), Stephen Bannister (bass guitar) and Beak Wing (drums/ percussion). Battle Tapes is known for its live performances, fully sequenced light show and integrating electro and indie influences into its music and image.

Battle Tapes released their first LP, Polygon in late 2015. After much success with their Sweatshop Boys EP, the band gives fans and critics alike a glimpse into the future of Battle Tapes. Driving guitars, huge synths, and pounding kick drums underneath pop melody and hooks are at the core of their debut effort.

Battle Tapes have been featured on radio stations KCRW and ALT 98.7; various movie trailers, TV shows, and video games, including ‘Girls’ (HBO), ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (Rockstar Games), ‘Lucifer’ (Fox), ‘Now You See Me 2’ (Summit) and ‘Need for Speed 2015’ (EA Games).
Fitness
Fitness
After years of writing music for a mass of bands, Max Collins and Kenny Carkeet needed a creative therapeutic release unbound by the restrictions of what a song "should" be. Together they formed Fitness, an aggressive, in your face synth-duo unconstrained by expectation or trend. True to form, the Los Angeles based duo releases music as they fast as they can make it. Since the end of 2016, Fitness has released two songs (Get Dead and Supafeeler (Vice Grip) - both available on YouTube and Spotify) and have a third (Feel the Weight) slated for an early March 2017 release accompanied by their debut music video. The team is currently "growing" their debut AGGROCULTURE EP which will be available on iTunes Summer 2017.
BEGINNERS
BEGINNERS
LA-based indie electro pop with a Rock-n-Roll spirit and catchy dance anthems. Beginners are back with Pleaser, a formidable follow-up to their 2014 S/T debut which garnered immediate recognition from the press, impressive tours with bands like Walk The Moon, and over 4 million streams on Spotify.

Following the success of the record, Beginners was featured in multiple commercial campaigns including, YouTube, RayBan, Miller Lite, Skullcandy and Europe’s Douglas Cosmetics; and landed numerous high profile TV placements like New Girl and The Vampire Diaries.

“Chock full of the kind of radio ready alt pop that the California goldmine’s become known for in recent years, Beginners is overflowing with warm genial synths and rousing filtered vocals that stir up feelings of greener grass and escapist yearnings.” - Neon Gold Records

“Sound just like It’s Blitzera Yeah Yeah Yeahs and that’s no bad thing. The chorus contains more glee than a FOX network filming studio, and, yup, the song’s official video is appropriately celebratory.” - The Guardian

“Sun soaked indie pop [with] rousing lyrics rooted in the rough edges of reality.” - Interview Magazine

“Sonic gold... a blissfully coruscating dance track that should be on your pool party playlists right now.” - Nerdist

“Left-of-center pop that is hitting our sweet spot!” - Perez Hilton

“We promise it’ll get you dancing.” - Filter Magazine

“Talk about an unstoppable force.” - DIY Magazine
