Blake Hazard (of The Submarines)
Blake Hazard (of The Submarines)
Blake Hazard started playing in subways in New York City in her teens, graduating to playing smaller clubs in the city. She made her way to Boston to study at Harvard University, where she continued to play live, and eventually met John Dragonetti (Jack Drag). They moved to LA, and broke up in 2005, but after hearing the songs that each had written about their parting, reunited to form The Submarines. The Subs went on to make three records and remix EPs for the Canadian label Nettwerk Records. The band toured the US and Europe many times, making festival and television appearances, with their songs licensed extensively for film and TV worldwide.

Blake recorded her album The Eleanor Islands, also licensed for film and tv, with Sam Cohen (Kevin Morby, Yellowbirds) in Brooklyn in 2013.

She is currently working on a solo album in Los Angeles with acclaimed producer Thom Monahan (Wild Nothing, Fruit Bats, Vetiver).
Two Sheds
Two Sheds
Two Sheds’ music takes the tender and direct pop mindset of someone like Liz Phair straight to the top floor. Caitlin’s voice may remind listeners of Kristen Hersh or Mazzy Star, sounding like she’s weeping in the sad songs and smiling in the happy songs. The band takes the California rock-soul of comrades like Mother Hips or 90s indie wizards Pavement, driving to the essence of a song in the shortest path possible. They are pushing themselves to dig down to the still-genuine heart of rock and roll, where true love still resides, away from the false promises of the searchlights. They will dare you to not be enamored.
Parting Lines
Parting Lines
Southern California duo Parting Lines is the new project of Tim Ramsey and Trevor Beld Jimenez, who were longtime members of Tall Tales and the Silver Lining, and sidemen in bands such as Vetiver, Little Wings, and DIOS. Tim and Trevor continue to make the music they wanted to hear and dreamed of creating.
Parting Lines, find themselves looking outward with destination unknown. There is a joyful romanticism in their music with nods to Petty, Springsteen, and Fleetwood Mac, but with their ship set sail for modern horizons. Songs about a larger sense of self with rock n’ roll deliverance.
