Xenia Rubinos
Xenia Rubinos
Music maker Xenia Rubinos uses her powerful voice to create beats and melodies from scratch. Xenia’s sound grows from a wide range of influences from r&b and hip-hop to Caribbean rhythms all delivered with a soulful punk aura. Her debut record, Magic Trix, is an ecstatic collection of songs featuring layered beats, crunchy keyboards, and driving syncopated rhythms.
Pegasus Warning
Pegasus Warning
Pegasus Warning aka Guillermo E. Brown currently features every night on the Late Late Show With James Corden as the drummer in Karen, the show's house band. Guillermo's main project, Pegasus Warning, is a supernova of experimental R&B and soulful synths conceived while touring with Jamie Lidell. Since then, Guillermo's dynamic visions have prompted collaborations with artists such as Twin Shadow, Das Racist, Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, Saul Williams, Mocky, Spoek Mathambo and many more. His transcendental live shows have graced residencies at The Ace Hotel and Bowery Electric, headlined renowned venues like Brooklyn Bowl, and commanded the stages of Terminal 5, The Brooklyn Museum, The Roxy, El Cid, and more. After a year-long hiatus, Pw is set to release a new batch of work in June this year under his own imprint, Melanin Harmonique Records. The album will be preceded by the much anticipated "Come Close" single coming out on April 29th.

"Pegasus Warning has a divine ability to shapeshift through many mediums: percussionist, vocalist, writer, producer, performance artist, visionary. His sound similarly takes on the most unlikely of forms, straddling the line between funked-out mutant R&B, experimental rock, stunning to-the-gut soul, "broken electronics, strange textures and pulsing rhythms"

"Pegasus Warning's sound was the right kind of shambles, full of left turns and quick stops and obvious reference points beaten to a pulp, all delivered with a sense of joy in the process of figuring things out. Expertise and tradition are just one kind of instrument."
– New York Times

"Step into a territory that's been heavily trodden recently – R&B fractured with rock and avant-garde influences – and make it as intimately personal as a fingerprint."
