Los Blancos
Los Blancos
Los Blancos are a garage/punk outfit, having risen from the ashes of turn of-the-century street punk bands. A rag-tag buncha heathens washed up, and stuffed in to jacket-and-tiewith just a touch of hair treatment.
Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas
Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas
Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas are a Los Angeles-based ‘50s/’60s Rock/Soul/R&B band that simply ‘brings the party’ wherever and whenever they perform. They are the embodiment of the true foundational basis of no-holds-barred, all-in rock ‘n’ roll. Simply put, their mission statement can be summed up as follows: generating a circumstance conducive to having fun. As much fun as humanly possible.

Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas are open-minded and mind-expanded in no uncertain terms. Their rockers cause dance floor mayhem and their soulful ballads induce swooning. There’s no doubt that you and your socks will part company once you experience Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas.

The band’s front man is Tom Kenny, the highly regarded and always-working actor who has voiced the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants, Adventure Time’s The Ice King, The Mayor in the Power Puff Girls and, literally, hundreds of others.

Tom met TK&TH-S music director Andy Paley years ago though the good offices of NRBQ’s Tommy Ardolino. Andy is one of rock’s true renaissance men, having led The Sidewinders, the group from Boston that became the virtual house band for the Andy Warhol/Factory crowd that gathered nightly at Max’s Kansas City during the “golden age” of New York’s underground art and performance scene. Andy and his brother Jonathan ran their own show with The Paley Brothers whose teen idol looks and sunny pop/rock made their stint on Shaun Cassidy’s national arena tour a perfect fit. Following that brush with power pop glory, Andy went on to produce numerous major artists including the Ramones, Brian Wilson, Madonna and, yes, Jerry Lee Lewis.

Once Andy and Tom joined musical forces it was only natural that unsuspecting kids and their parents would be treated to the retro-rock songs they wrote and performed for the SpongeBob SquarePants. They’ve introduced little kids to subversive rock ‘n’ roll in the long-running TV series, SpongeBob movies as well as two best selling albums: “The Best Day Ever” and “The SpongeBob Christmas Album.”

The Damselles add a truly glamorous dimension to the Tom Kenny & The Hi- Seas line up. Easy on the eyes and ears, The Damselles bring beautiful harmonies, smiles and top-flight choreography to the mix. It’s as if the glory days of the girl group era had never ended when they bring their voices, exotic moves and costuming to the Hi-Seas stage.

But wait! There’s so much more including a rockin’, honkin’ horn section, a rotating cast of game players who have toured and recorded with the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, De La Soul, Fitz & The Tantrums and many more. At the root of it all is a rock solid rhythm section whose persuasive percussion is the dance floor-filling catalyst that completes the swingin’ and singular package.

All of these talents combine to produce the throwback rock ‘n’ roll party sound of Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas that will make you wanna twist the night away. They cover everyone from Elvis and Chuck Berry to the Falcons and Frankie Ford. They’ll take you on a “Sea Cruise” on dry land and never ever fail to create a disturbance in your mind, setting the scene for young adults’ romping as nature intended.

This is rock ‘n’ roll as it was meant to be: wild, unfettered and a total blast. Get on board!
