MY STORY IN MUSIC - (music nerd for life)

I grew up playing music. I was fortunate enough to come from a family that supported my passion by any means necessary - lessons, instruments, carpools to rehearsals - and most importantly, love, support & encouragement in reaching my goals.

As I turn 30 (!!) I can’t help but be thankful for all of the people along the way that have contributed to my love & passion for music — you’ve allowed me to pursue a fulfilling career in music & the arts and I’m forever grateful.

THE CAUSE - A Capella Academy Los Angeles

That said, not every kid is as fortunate as I was. Please join me in giving back to the music community by helping me raise funds to provide scholarships for students attending the A Capella Academy in Los Angeles.

My good friend, Ben Bram, has created an incredible summer education program for the next generation of singers & performers. Their goal is to include as many students as they can, no matter their background and means.

I'll let Ben explain further...

"Every year for the past 5 years, we've raised money for our A Cappella Academy scholarship fund. These donations help send the brightest, sweetest, and most talented kids from all over the world to our program who otherwise would not be able to afford it. This fund has been the great equalizer for our program, and because of it, none of our accepted campers have ever had to drop out for financial reasons.

If you're inspired by the incredible talent and passion of these ascending vocal superstars, it would mean so much to me and to them if you contributed. Every little bit helps! There are four different ways you can donate, follow the link below for more info."

L'dor V'dor
On a personal note, my dad always taught us to give back to the next generation. It's the lesson that has stuck with me most after his passing; "to let the next generation stand on your shoulders."

If you know me well, you know L'dor V'dor is tattooed on my arms; "from generation to generation." I couldn't imagine a better way to live out those values than by using my 30th as a way to make sure students continue to pursue their passion in music!
